Цель настоящей статьи — дать анализ категории значения не в системе той или иной конкретной науки (и тем более не под углом зрения одной частной научной проблемы), а в более общей системе, применимой при комплексном подходе к языку, речи, речевой деятельности. Необходимость такого комплексного подхода все более заметна и в теоретическом плане, и при постановке и решении прикладных задач.
